The Big Shoot!

The sun shone on the fifth Herts Festival Clay Shoot at the Atkinson Grant & Lang shooting grounds Markyate Tuesday 19th. April. An enjoyable fun day had by all.
 98 gathered for a super days clay shoot in support of the 2019 Festival.My thanks to all concerned.Especially Stew Willett & Peter Walters.
Hearty congratulations to our two top individual guns of the day Roger Deards Knebworth Lodge 6941 and Richard O’Keefe West Watford Lodge 6492 with excellent scores of 55 (92%)
The Wellington/Pruton/Walton Team K were thrilled to win the Clay Preservation Award at the Herts festival Clay Shoot Markyate. We trust they enjoy their free tuition lessons.
Temple Bar Lodge 1728 did it again with their second first place with an excellent Team score of 349 points. Well done Philip, Matthew, Steve, Robin & Dean.
Park Street District Gun Club Team 3 only just beaten into 2nd place on 347 points. Congratulations Alison, Kevin, Colin, David & Tony.
The real winners are the RMTGB charity for girls & boys with just over £1,400 raised on the day.
It was great to have shooters from other Provinces including Bucks, Beds, Northants, Essex, Middlsx , London , East Kent and (of course) Hertfordshire.
