Forty One dined today (Wednesday 5th November) at the first meeting of the Luncheon Club for almost a year.
The speaker, Stuart Storey gave an excellent and humorous (as to be expected!) PowerPoint presentation on the Olympic Games through the eyes of a TV commentator, and followed with a Q & A session.
The event is now back on the radar, the attendees have confirmed their support, and additionally some fifteen or so members who were unable to attend today have also pledged their support. The next task is to increase the number of attendees.
The next meeting had been arranged for Tuesday 16th December.
