On the 5th May 2016 at Ashwell House a cheque for £900.00 was presented to Redbourn Care Group.
The sum was a combination of donations from Redbourn Lodge L8484, Park Street Lodge L8556, United Arts Rifles L3817 and Grand Charity fund matching. The Chairman of the Redbourn Care Group, Barry Welch expressed his gratitude and appreciation on behalf of the charity advising that the money will be used towards the purchase of their next minibus. Grateful thanks were conveyed to all members in supporting this major project and donating to the cause of Redbourn Care Group; a charity working to enhance the lives of elderly and less able residents of the village.
It was also acknowledged that Redbourn Lodge has supported this particular charity for many years.
