Michael Imeson

Provincial Information Officer

W Bro Michael Imeson who entered Hertfordshire masonry when he became a joining member of vHarpenden Lodge in the 1980s, was initiated into masonry in Camellia Thea Lodge which moved to West Kent from London some years ago.

He was organist for his mother lodge (of which he is a proud honorary member) and was privileged to play at the wonderful Egyptian temple in the famous Great Eastern Hotel. He still plays for most Harpenden Lodge meetings.

He is a member of Harpenden Royal Arch Chapter, of Rose Croix and of the Herts Masters Lodge.

A Fleet Street journalist all his working life (except for a few years before retirement when he was a PR manager for General Motors), became editor of Provincial News in 2005. He became Provincial Information Officer in 2008.

Michael, who was born in Yorkshire, lives in Harpenden, is married with one daughter and two grandchildren.

Hobbies include travelling, music and golf – oh, and masonry and specifically the Provincial News!
