The West Hertfordshire Lodge was sponsored by the Leavesden Lodge No. 6642 and had twenty six Founder Members. The RW Provincial Grand Master of Mark Masonry, Dr. David Bonnell MSc, PhD, PPGW, LGR, was the First Worshipful Master of the Lodge which was consecrated by RW Bro Col. Alexander Woods MBE TD DL, Provincial Grand Master. The Lodge Banner was dedicated on 29th October 1985 by W. Bro M B Jones, Assistant Provisional Grand Master.
