Quiz Night
On Friday the 27th February 2004, members of the North Watford Lodge gathered in the bar at Halsey Masonic Hall Watford to enjoy an evening in the company of friends and family.
The occasion was an invitation Quiz night that was arranged and hosted by Brother Otto Williams.
Ten rounds of questions, that ranged from the Sublime to the Ridiculous, eventually saw the team from Watford Lodge, aptly named 404, see off a late challenge from the Mastermind Rejects led by our current Worshipful Master, Richard Roscoe, to emerge as worthy winners.
The contestants enjoyed a fish supper during a break for refreshments. Time was also found to conduct the Ladies present on a tour of the building and Temple. This opportunity to see where their husbands conducted Masonic ceremonies was felt by some to be the highlight of their evening.
A raffle was held in aid of the 2009 Provincial appeal which raised the sum of £80.
By 11.00 the bar was closed, the prizes distributed and a wonderful evening for all concerned was over.
