12 July, 2016

The Master-Designate and Founders of the Lodge of True Aim are delighted to announce that the MW the Grand Master has been pleased to accept their petition for the formation of the Lodge, and it will be consecrated in January 2017.

The Lodge has been formed to promote the sport of shooting in all disciplines, but particularly Clay Pigeon shooting amongst masons in Hertfordshire and beyond.  Although the majority of the 29 founders come from the Province, there will be members from Essex, Bedfordshire, Middlesex and London.

The Primus Master will be W Bro Stuart Hutchison, PPSGW, and the Wardens Designate are Bro Neil Mottershead (SW) and W Bro Albert Bareham (JW), who hails from the Province of Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire.

The Provincial Grand Master will consecrate the Lodge, which has been assigned the number 9930, on Friday, January 20th 2017 at the Metropolitan Police Club, Bushey.  Further details will be available in due course for those wishing to apply for tickets to witness this very special occasion.
