Fair Green Lodge No 9410 celebrated their 25th. anniversary Installation meeting in style. A dispensation allowed them to move the meeting from Sawbridgeworth to Cheshunt to accommodate the 94 members and guests who enjoyed an excellent Installation of the new Master WBro Jason Roberts by WBro Paul Devlin followed by a wonderful Festive Board. Having suffered two very recent deaths of long standing and much loved members they took an envelope collection raising an amazing £1,295 (including gift aid) for St Clares Hospice Essex. WBro Chris Noble Provincial Grand Charity Steward said it was a fitting tribute that the collection went to St Clare’s Hospice and he was particularly pleased that gift aid envelopes were used gaining an extra £259 .He then presented a 2019 Festival Vice Patron Certificate to the Lodge and invited the Secretary to endorse their summons accordingly.
Earlier the Lodge Charity Steward WBro Jim Outridge presented a £10,000 cheque to the Provincial Grand Master RWBro Paul Gower. The PGM thanked the brethren for their wonderful support and generosity.
